Immunization Information

We have been notifying families about required immunizations over the past few months. The original deadline was August 30, 2024, but it has been extended to September 13, 2024. Students must meet the immunization requirements by this new deadline to attend school starting September 16, 2024. There are no further extensions, and while there are no religious exemptions, medical exemptions must be handled by a physician and sent to the state’s Department of Immunology. There are no catch-up schedules for the required immunizations for 7th and 12th grades. Families should contact their health care provider, the Jefferson County Health Department, or a local pharmacy for assistance.

Rising 7th & 12th Graders are REQUIRED by the state of West Virginia to have a Tdap and Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine to start the 2024-25 school year!
